Freeview is a new simple way to receive up to 30 digital TV channels free of charge, plus radio and interactive services, through your rooftop aerial. This is a new service that is backed by the BBC and BSkyB. There is no contract - just a one-off payment for a digital adaptor. Provided you are in the coverage area you should be able to get Freeview with your existing rooftop or loft aerial provided it is in good condition.
